How do I connect via FTP?

Connecting via FTP to your web hosting is quick and easy with just a few steps. Ensure you have an FTP client available. We’d recommend FileZilla.

FTP Access using WordPress Hosting

  1. Reach your Web Hosting Control Panel
  2.  Choose your website from the list
  3.  Click [Log in to Control Panel]
  4. You’ll see the FTP panel on the right-hand side of the control panel. You’ll need to unlock FTP by either [Time] or [IP address] 
  5. You’ll see the FTP Details section that contains your
    1. FTP Server (Host)
    2. Username
    3. Password
  6. Enter these details into FileZilla and select Quickconnect

Please make sure you are using the correct password! You’ll need to use the password within the package’s FTP Details section.

FTP Access using third-party nameservers

If your domain still uses third-party nameservers, you’ll need to use a different hostname to connect via FTP. These name servers are also available in your control panel’s bottom right section.
