How do I activate my free SSL?
Every WordPress Hosting comes with a free wildcard SSL certificate. To activate the SSL, you’ll need to make sure you’ve pointed the domain name to our nameservers.
Step 1: Update Nameservers
- ns1.updatenameserver.com
- ns2.updatenameserver.com
- ns3.updatenameserver.com
- ns4.updatenameserver.com
Step 2: Activate free SSL
- Reach your Web Hosting Control Panel
- Choose your website from the list
- Click [Log in to Control Panel]
- Under [Security]
- Click on the [SSL/TLS] icon
- Click [Activate Free SSL] next to your domain name
If you’d like all your visitors to use SSL connections (i.e. for HTTPS to always be used), select the Enable option at the bottom of the page.
Please allow 30 minutes to secure your website. This is due to the changes that need to be made to our load balancers. Please check your website using ‘https://’ in a new private/incognito browser mode.
Free SSL certificates are only available to websites using our nameservers. Third-party nameservers and ‘A’ records are not supported.
